Quiche Lorraine

  • 1 9 inch Frozen pie crust, unbaked
  • 5 Slices of bacon, cooked and cut into pieces
  • 1 1/4 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper (black)
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Place pie crust in pan on baking sheet. Poke holes with a fork on the bottom and sides of the pie crust. This will help the pie crust to bake evenly.

  3. Sprinkle bacon and shredded cheese over the bottom of the pie crust.

  4. In a medium bowl, beat eggs, milk, and heavy cream with a whisk. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour mixture over bacon and swiss cheese in pie crust.

  5. Bake in the middle of the oven for 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of the quiche comes out clean.  

  6. Cool quiche for 10 minutes and then slice into wedges to serve.
