One of my favorite podcasts is called, How I Built This. Each episode is about how someone built a business and a few months ago I listened to an episode featuring Dave Gilboa & Neil Blumenthal two of the founders of Warby Parker. Before, listening to this episode I had seen one of my facebook friends talking about how much she loved her new glasses and had the #warbyparker at the end of the post. So I associated the name Warby Parker with glasses, but I didn’t really know much else. However, while listening to the podcast I learned a lot about Warby Parker and their commitment of offering quality eyeglasses at affordable prices.
I’ve always thought about ordering glasses online, but I’ve always questioned whether or not a pair that I picked out online would look good on my face. However, with Warby Parker, you don’t have to worry about that at all because they have a FREE Home Try-On option. You simply visit their website, Warby Parker and select up to 5 pairs of glasses that you would like to try on. Then they will mail those glasses to you in a sturdy box for you to try on at home. How cool is that? You then have 5 days to try on your glasses before you need to mail them back to Warby Parker using prepaid postage that’s included in your box.
If you want to order any of the glasses you tried on you simply visit the Warby Parker website and place your order. It’s a really simple and easy process.
I really loved my Warby Parker Home Try-On option because you never know how glasses online will actually look on you until you physically put them on your face. I know a lot of other online glasses companies have virtual try-ons, but nothing really beats an at home try-on. Here are pictures of me in the five pairs of glasses (I choose both regular glasses & sunglasses) that I selected for my Warby Parker Home Try-On.
Let’s start with my favorite pair, Goodney. I really liked the color and the shape of these frames a lot. I thought they looked really cute on me too.
Next up, was Leighty, I really liked that these were two toned. I also really loved the shaped of these glasses. However, these did not look good on me.
The next three pairs are all sunglasses. I’ve been thinking about getting a pair of prescription sunglasses since I didn’t order in contacts after my last eye exam. My favorite pair of sunglasses that I picked out for my Home Try-On was Banks, they were a really cute sea smoke tortoise.
The Preston was a really classic looking pair of sunglasses and I liked how these looked on me as well.
I also really adored the look of these Tilley sunglasses.
I haven’t ordered any glasses yet, but I leaning towards the Goodney. I really loved that pair a lot. If you would like Warby Parker’s Home Try-On option simply visit warbyparker.com to select your glasses.
