My Style: T-Shirt & Jeans
I hope to start sharing more posts about what I wear on the blog as I begin to sew more. I still haven’t sewn anything for myself yet. Lately, I’ve been working on sewing a dress for my daughter that is labeled as “Easy” on the pattern. But I’ve gotten stuck at how to make the skirt portion of the dress. So I’m going to have to ask my mom for some help so I can finish it up. In the meantime, I thought I would share my go-to style on the blog today. It’s a t-shirt and jeans 🙂
Most days I like to keep it very simple, especially during the summer. I like to wear a comfortable t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and some sandals.
The great thing about a t-shirt is that there are so many options available. Â You can go with something really basic. Or you can express your views with a statement t-shirt. Or even have some fun with a graphic t-shirt. Today I went with a fun Sun Shutter graphic t-shirt.
This shirt is special to me because it’s one of my husband’s t-shirt designs. Over the past year, my husband has been designing t-shirts for Threadless design competitions. If you are not familiar with Threadless it’s a website that allows artists to design their own t-shirts and set up artist’s shops to sell their designs. In addition, Threadless also hosts themed t-shirt design competitions where anyone can vote on the submissions from different artists.
My husband recently opened his Threadless artist shop and I was excited to buy this “Sun Shutter” shirt which is one of my favorites that he has designed so far. The cool thing about Threadless is that when you order a t-shirt you get to choose the style and color of your t-shirt. Some of the different t-shirt styles available for women are tank top, v-neck, scoop neck, dolman, razorback tank, baseball style t-shirt, and the regular t-shirt style like I choose. There are also hoodies, long-sleeve t-shirts, and sweatshirts available for the designs. Plus, there are other t-shirt styles available for men, babies, toddlers, and kids. Below you can see one of my husband’s other designs (A Cup of Inspiration) in a v-neck style.
If you like wearing t-shirts you should definetly checkout the designs found on Threadless.
What’s your go to style?

I love oversized blouse with leggings and flats as my go-to style. You look great. I will browse hubby’s shop when I get a chance.

Thanks Nerline 🙂 Leggings are comfy to wear. I love flats, they are to go to shoes too.
And you look wonderful! This used to be my best go to style. Something about having kids made my hips different and jeans don’t fit the same. I need to get better ones and that will solve it.
My favorite style is just a sundress and sandals, but I miss this style too.

I actually want to start wearing more dresses. I’m even sewing a dress for myself. Hopefully, I can finish it this week 🙂
Cute outfit and I love the shirt! I will have to be sure to check out the shop because jeans and a t-shirt are my go to style as well.
