I’m thankful for Fancy Nancy books. Both of my kids like these books a lot right now because they are funny. And I like them because they are learning “fancy” words. 🙂

I’m thankful that my oldest nephew will begin his freshman year of college on Monday. He was just one-year-old when I left for college and now he is 18 and going to college. My how these years have gone by.
I’m thankful for the Netflix series The Get Down. I watched it last week and it was really good. It’s set in New York City in the late 1970’s and it tells the story of how hip-hop was born.
